About Me

"My passion for theatre started when I was very young. I loved going to my acting and singing classes. After high school I started my law degree but something felt terribly wrong and even though I liked the subject very much, I felt like I was in the wrong place. I then started a tourism degree thinking I would make things better but I felt even worse.  That's when I went to watch a show and left the theatre feeling completely shattered and whole at the same time. I'd finally realised I was wasting my time doing something I didn't want to do and I decided I'd be an actress once and for all. I called my mother that very same night to tell her I'd quit university and go to drama school. After a brief silence she just said... OK. I was very lucky to have my family supporting me, that's not something you should take for granted.

I graduated as a musical theatre performer after a 3 years full time course at the Bernstein School of Musical Theatre in Bologna.

In the meantime, I trained to become a tarantella dancer and held workshops in the summer.

I then moved to London to continue with my studies.

I attendend short acting courses and workshops at RADA, dance classes and private singing lessons.

I also developed a passion for Stage Fighting, achieved a BADC Intermediate and trained for the use of Firearms in movie and theatre.

All the while I was involved in commercials, music videos, short movies and become a member of NIAL (Native Italian Actors in London)."

2019 was a great year because I had the chance to co-produce and play a part in "Dear London", a cabaret show with Musical Theatre repertoire that had its debut in Italy, and produced and played a part in

"Lu Rusciu de lu Mare", a show I wrote and had been working on for a couple of years, and which I consider my most important achievement so far.

Over the last few years I’ve have also specialized in English teaching, mainly to actors and artists who wish to enhance their language skills and be competitive in an increasingly international industry.

During my years of study I've worked hard to deepen my knowledge of pronunciation and phonetics of

British and American English.

I studied extensively with a private tutor and regularly attend in-depth courses such as VSCEP, The Summer Course in English Phonetics at The University College London (UCL).

I am Cambridge CELTA and Cambridge C2 certified.

I'm currently attending the faculty of Interpreting and Translation in Forli' to acquire the skills I need to professionally translate theatre and cinema text.
